Mom and Mike worked really hard to xeriscape the front yard. She wanted to share the end results with everyone. Lots of sweat and hard work, but so worth it!

Lela
This is a difficult time to start the new year .... brother John's wife, Lela, passed away on January 5th with John by her side and listening to a harpist. I saw her last this fall when I was in New England for work. She was so looking forward to returning to Lincoln. Her wish was granted in late November, even though it was not as long as she had hoped. Her great sense of humor and love towards life and the everyday little interactions will be sorely missed. Of course, when we think of her we'll always wonder what hat Lela would be wearing in Heaven!
