Merry Christmas

Christmas 2014 we spent a quiet day at home. Christmas Eve we went to church and then dinner and a movie (in the same place...new theater in Tucson) and saw Unbroken. Very inspirational story! Christmas day I finished making the curtains for the kitchen and pantry. So I guess now the kitchen remodeling project is officially complete.

Tim and I decided to make a meal together. After all we have a newly remodeled kitchen! We decided to make the famous Julia Child's beef bourguignon and ate our Christmas dinner on the patio (okay it was a little windy but it isn't too bad). I must admit it came out great! Even though there was a little prep work ahead of time, it really is a very easy recipe.
