As many of you know I spend 3 hours a week as an English teacher volunteer for Literacy Connects. Myself and another teacher (a doctor in fact) help non-native speakers learn English. But we do more than just teaching grammar. We try to incorporate life skills -- grocery shopping, talking on the telephone, job interview....
